Blind Melon Reunites

Blind Melon will reunite with Rain Fur Rent frontman Travis Warren taking the place of deceased frontman Shannon Hoon. As first reported by Chart Attack, Warren has started working on new songs with Blind Melonís remaining members: Glen Graham (drums), Christopher Thorn (guitar), Brad Smith (bass) and Rogers Stevens (guitar). After Hoonís fatal overdose, his bandmates reworked a handful of rough cuts into the album Nico and began auditioning new singers. Unable to find a suitable replacement, the quartet reorganized with Smith on lead vocals, but the project soon faded away. Tomorrow, October 21, marks the eleventh anniversary of Hoonís passing.
